I've been loving all things orange lately so I instantly fell in love with this bright skort, its actually labelled red but I say it's orange..right? who's with me? You could easily dress this up or down..which is great. I hate it when your limited to when you have to wear something.
This textured cut out shirt is pretty versatile too..Im currently wearing a cropped vest top underneath, but with it being a boxy shape you could throw it over a dress, or wear it open...it goes with anything really... I don't normally go for white things either but I'm glad I was brave and stayed away from my usual comfort of black.

Kindle power..

I've been completely hooked on The Mortal Instruments Series, Cassandra Clare is a genius. The City of Heavenly Fire, the sixth and final instalment of the series was released today. I've literally been counting down the days until I can get lost in the shadowhunter world again, so I'll be retreating into a mortal instruments coma and have a kindle glued to my face until I finally find out how it all ends.. ( Im excited to see what happens, but extremely sad the journey is over at the same time) now to round up some supplies (snacks and a cuppa.) readyyyy...

Kawaii..

I've wanted a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 for what seems like forever, but I've always managed to talk myself out of it... Then the other day while searching for books on Amazon, I somehow managed to end up in the camera section. Again.  I normally just add it to my basket then flee the scene and forget about it, but this time I was determined to not leave it in an abandoned basket.
I'm so glad I never.. I love it. Its the perfect size to fit in my bag and its super light so its no bother to carry around...I haven't tested it out fully yet...But I plan to and I apologise for the amount of polaroid photos that will more than likely appear while I'm in polaroid mode.

I knitted a heart.

I was just having one of those lazy days with minimal movement.. just watching films, eating chocolate and drinking excessive amounts of tea...and I found some knitting needles and a little bit of this fluffy pink yarn within my reach so naturally I decided to knit a little fluffy 3D heart..I think it turned out pretty good considering i made it up as i went along. I love it when things go to plan. Im now tempted to make some more little decorative things like this. hmm. :)

Girl Power..

Unintentionally found my spice cam today while rummaging through all my stuff, I was initally looking for my Harry Potter books, which I still haven't found. (I know Im a terrible person) 

I completely forgot about this, I remember having it when I was little, It was my favourite thing ever with its polaroid girl power magic. Oh and those spice girl photo cards you had to collect and used to trade duplicates with friends. I still have those too. Somewhere. 

I also found this little cardboard cut out from a smash hit magazine, why I still own that I don't know. Spice girl Hoarder alert.

Ive been doing some knitting today….more hats. I just love making them…Im really liking this blue/cream with black combination as well. 

I think sometime this week I'm going to make some other things too, time to get the sketchbook out. I need inspiration.

Couldn't resist this tote…especially with it being monochrome, I'm addicted. I think I need help.
I love the tile print and the tassel detail as well, Its just perfect when you feel like adding a little something to a plain outfit. Its also a good size, so I can fit all my useless junk I love to cart around with me…Including my knitting needles. Can't leave those behind.
